Loving Lately: Fall Boots

It is SO good to be back! Just when I had my blog I had been dreaming of forever up and running, boom- the school year hit in FULL force. Why I thought I could handle teaching, full time grad school, and a blog is beyond me! Buuuuuut... bare with me until November 20th! That's the day you will see me down 2 bottles of wine in celebration smile from ear to ear! One more class after that!

Over the past few weeks, in my non-existent spare time I have been updating my fall wardrobe. I am not one of those gung-ho fall crazies, but I do appreciate fall clothing and activities. 

Lately, I have been really into fresh fall boots. Below are some of my favorites!

Programming Note

I am still alive- in case you are wondering. Going back to teaching this year, combined with one of my final (and hardest) graduate classes, has left me completely swamped! 

I am hoping to find some free time over the long weekend to bring the chic and the sugar 

back to Chic Sugar!

These Mossimo Black Vianca Tuxedo Flat in gold glitter

I have wanted a pair of this style flat, but since I feel like they are so trendy, I didn't want to invest a lot of money in a pair. At $20 ($15 right now on sale!), you can't go wrong. It's well documented that I like gold glitter (here, here, and here), so I'm super glad that I picked these up!

Yogi Detox Tea

I picked this up earlier this week, and I have been enjoying a large cup or two before bed. Although I was skeptical at first, I definitely have more energy and feel more balanced. There are a number of positive reviews online as well.


Clear Bubble Umbrella

I am dying to get a clear bubble umbrella! Thinking about this one...

And finally... these two. What more can I say about these adorable faces?! Zoe is slowly becoming more accepting of Ruby. Baby steps, baby steps.

Loving Lately: Sparkly Collar Shirt

When spring/summer and fall/winter roll around, I like to update my wardrobe with a few key pieces. While I am not a super trendy dresser ( I like more classic clothes with a girly and glam twist), I like to add a few fresh pieces to update my look.
